As most of you know, we have been planning to finish our basement since we moved in the house back in 1999. We have tackled a few other big projects, like the pool, but now it is time to finish the basement! If you have been to our house, you have seen the space and the amount of clutter that we have collected over the years. The clutter is now gone (or relocated) and the construction has begun! The "blank" canvas
This is the space on the day before work started. We (along with the help of friends) had already spent a lot of time working to move 12 years of "stuff" that we had collected, demo walls, and scrape 1000 sq ft of floor tile
